I've been playing guitar for over 30 years. I'm a Maine certified K-12 music teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching guitar privately and in the classroom. I offer online guitar lessons using Zoom, and in-person lessons in South Portland or at your home.
I teach children and adults of any level - beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Students can learn acoustic or electric guitar, and fingerstyle or pick playing. Styles taught include rock and pop, blues, jazz, folk, country and classical. Sight-reading, music theory, learning by ear and improvisation are skills all students will develop.
In addition to guitar, I also teach electric bass, ukulele, singing, songwriting and beginners piano.
-- My teaching hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 9:00pm
-- Individual Zoom lessons are $30 per half hour, $40 for 45 minutes, and $50 for a full hour
-- Lessons are $10 extra if I travel to your location in the Portland area
